Overview

DVB-ASI (Asynchronous Serial Interface) is a standard medium for transmission of compressed digital video/audio streams (MPEG-2) between devices at a maximum rate of 270 Mbps.

The NetUP Dual ASI-RX/TX-CI is an ASI PCI-e card that can receive and send video/audio signal via ASI interface. The card is intended for professional use, e.g. in DVB to IP gateways and studio equipment. The key advantage of the card is its versatility - it has 2 ASI interfaces both of which can be used for input or output independently. The card is equipped with two Common Interface (CI) slots for decoding.
